VANDELLOS | SPORTS LAW is a law firm founded in 2010 and based in Andorra highly specialized in international sports law and arbitration.

We operate on a worldwide basis providing cutting edge and bespoke legal services and advice in all matters related to the sports and entertainment industry at the best competitive rates.

VANDELLOS | SPORTS LAW advises clients before state courts as well as before all judicial and dispute resolution bodies of different international sports federation such as the RFEF committees, the FIFA Football Tribunal or the Basketball Arbitral Tribunal and the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne (Switzerland).

JOSEP F. VANDELLÓS ALAMILLA

FOUNDER AND PRINCIPAL

Josep Francesc Vandellós Alamilla is an international sports lawyer with more than 20 years of experience representing athletes, clubs, national associations, leagues, agents, and coaches before various dispute resolution bodies and the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Lausanne, Switzerland.

He graduated in Law from Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona) and holds a Master’s degree in International Business and European Union Law from Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne. He also completed a postgraduate degree in Taxation at Instituto de Empresa (IE) in Madrid and a postgraduate degree in Andorran Law at the Universitat d’Andorra.

In January 2023, he was appointed as a Judge of the FIA Cost Cap Adjudication Panel. In December 2025, he was appointed as a Member of the List of International Judges (LJI) of the FIM. He is also a member of the Evaluation Committee of LaLiga.

He regularly lectures as a visiting professor in Sports Law at universities worldwide. He is a member of the editorial board of LawInSport and has published numerous articles and authored several books in the field of sports law.

Saksham Samarth is an International Sports Lawyer at Vandellos Sports Law in New Delhi, India. After having graduated as a lawyer in 2016, he worked as a litigating lawyer in commercial and taxation matters before the Supreme Court, High Courts and Lower Courts in India. In 2023, he was also appointed FIFA pro bono counsel and in July 2024, he was appointed as a Safeguarding Disciplinary Tribunal Member, World Sailing.
 
In 2019 he moved to Spain to pursue Masters in Sports Management and Legal Skills offered by the Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economía (ISDE Barcelona, 2019-20). Having joined the firm in 2020, he primarily works in Sports Dispute Resolution before international sport adjudicating authorities, primarily FIFA and the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne, Switzerland. He regularly advises on regulatory, disciplinary, commercial and contractual issues in football which includes drafting employment contracts, representation agreements and transfer agreements. He also represents athletes, clubs and associations in tennis, boxing, rugby, skiing and fencing.
 
He is a co-author and co-editor of the book titled “Sporting Succession in Football”, published in September 2022 by the Sports Law and Policy Centre. He regularly judges the Sports Law Arbitration Moot (SLAM), organized by LawInSport at the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Manavi Jain

Manavi Jain has over 9 years’ experience in handling cross-border matters pertaining to Intellectual Property (IP) rights, including in the media and sports industries, as well as international sports law. Based in New Delhi, India, she regularly advises athletes, clubs, associations, MNCs, and artists on brand protection, personality rights, copyrights, designs, and contractual matters. She also works as a litigating lawyer in IP and commercial matters before Courts in India. She is an active member of International Trademark Association (INTA) and has served on the Editorial Board for the reputed journal The Trademark Reporter since 2022 – as a peer reviewer (2022-2025) and as Senior Editor (2026 onwards). In 2024, she was recognized as one of INTA’s Rising Stars for her commitment to the IP profession and contribution to INTA.

She also represents clubs, coaches, and athletes in disputes before international sport adjudicating authorities, including FIFA and CAS, and advises on commercial, contractual, and regulatory issues in sports. She is a member of WISLaw.

ROXANA ȚĂRMUREAN

Roxana Țărmurean is an international sports and dispute resolution lawyer for over 15 years, representing athletes, coaches, agents, clubs, national federations and sports stakeholders before national and international dispute resolution bodies, including the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Lausanne, FIFA, the Romanian Football Federation, the Professional Football League and various national and international federations (European Handball Federation, International Volleyball Federation, Romanian Handball Federation, Romanian Motorcycling Federation, French Handball Federation etc.).

She specialises in sports law, arbitration and regulatory matters, with additional expertise in IT&C, employment, data protection and emerging digital technologies. Roxana combines strategic litigation expertise with regulatory and contractual advisory work, offering integrated legal solutions tailored to the evolving sports and digital environment. 

Roxana is a co-author of Arbitrajul intern și internațional (2012) and contributed to International Arbitration 2013 (ICLG), as well as numerous publications in the field of sports law. She lectures at specialised courses and conferences and maintains close academic engagement in arbitration and sports law.

She holds a double Master’s degree in Business Litigation and European & International Business Law from Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne (French Government scholarship). She graduated from the University of Bucharest and the French-Romanian College of Law Studies in Bucharest. In 2015, she completed the International Sports Law Executive Programme at ISDE Madrid, graduating first in her class with Honourable Mention.

Roxana has been a member of the Bucharest Bar Association since 2009.
