We are very happy to announce the release of our book SPORTING SUCCESSION IN FOOTBALL

This comprehensive 400-page publication covers a wide variety of topics surrounding the notion of sporting succession: defining what is a club, dissecting the concept of sporting succession, analysing the main procedural issues that arise around this concept, explaining the financial and disciplinary consequences that a sporting successor can expect and scrutinizing its relationship with insolvency law.

The book provides a practical insight to those who want to study this complex legal concept that has been –and continues to be– at the core of numerous FIFA decisions and CAS awards.

In addition, the book explains how this concept is treated in 18 different jurisdictions, thereby serving as a useful guide to any practitioner that is faced with sporting succession matters at national level.
